MIYAKE Yuzuki

15 students held a U12 trial-out event with a Cambodian soccer team called SOLTILO ANGKOR FC. We divided into sales and customer gathering teams and created an event. I belonged to the sales team and we wanted to collect 200 dollars.I was worried about whether the preparation period would really be a success or not. However, as a result, we were able to collect more than 300 dollars. During the event, I was able to get in touch with Cambodian children and see their smiles, and I was convinced that what I had done was not wrong.

I was in charge of donations in the sales team. Considering Cambodia’s annual income and other factors, the value of the dollar should be quite high, but there are people who donate money saying, “I’m happy that you do your best for Cambodia?” Therefore, I tried to explain to the donors exactly what this donation will be used and I was able to express my gratitude to them. In the week, I have been thinking every day about what business means and what connection means. I strongly felt the strength of work as a team. I enjoyed the working with Students from seven different university and talking our dreams.

I have visited various countries for short-term study. Why am I going abroad? I have noticed that “the beauty of studying abroad is to meet people and know their values.” When you learn about new ideas from people who are born and raised in different environments, your world expands. Then I feel joy in sympathies and connection. I think that experience will be a asset to my life. You may think it’s a fine-sounding talk, but studying abroad bring experience as fine-sounding. I am grateful to all the people who support me studying abroad, and I hope this will be a good opportunity for you to take a step forward.
