On June 6, Skill-up Center, Institute of Liberal Arts and Sciences, held a training course for “High Ranking Teaching Assistants,” and 11 doctorial students participated in the course.
As part of the KU Top Global University Project, some particularly capable doctorial students are appointed to “High Ranking Teaching Assistants,” who support professors in their classes with advanced skills.
This training course consists of eight sessions, and the participants are going to learn about the role of faculty, the teaching methods and so on. Also, the workshop for creating syllabus and the classroom observation are included in the course. They are expected to become educators at university in the future.
