【ACT.80】“Global Week,” an International Exchange Event by KU-SGU Student Staff, Takes Place

From June 26th to 30th, KU-SGU Student Staff and other Japanese and international students of Kanazawa University hosted a university-wide scale event, “Global Week ~ International Exchange Festival for your career development ~ ” in order to increase momentum for globalization among students.

More than 10 international exchange events such as game party, exchange party, workshops, etc., were held throughout the week. Participants enjoyed experiencing international exchange that cannot be found in everyday life and acquired a global perspective.

In addition to the above events, Global Affairs Support Office held “Private Consultation Session by Study Abroad Office” and “FY2017 Information Session for Study Abroad” which helped students to deepen their interest in Study Abroad.

1 “Multilanguage Meetup”: International students teach their mother tongue to other students and communicate in the language 
2 “Private Consultation Session”: face-to-face consultation by Japanese students and faculty who have Study Abroad experience
3 “Treasure Hunter”: participants enjoy international exchange by answering quizzes related to various countries
4 “KuLOS trial session”: learn about Fair Trade through games
5 “Workshop by TOBITATE! Students”: find your own values that lead to career choice
6 “FY2017 Information Session for Study Abroad”: introducing KU’s Study Abroad Programs, etc.
7 “Premium KU Day”: exchange party for students, faculty and staff
